Pascal Torres Guardiola, the co-curator of From Gesture to Language, together with btr, the editor of a literary bimonthly, plans three Literature dialogues between Chinese and French writers and scholars.
When literature and art turn out to be a combined expression, the close connection between literature and art is unexceptionally clear. As a creative activity, art is always an inspiration resource for writers. Especially for French writer Serge Bramly, he writes about Leonardo da Vinci, Mona Lisa and Man Ray. He will discuss with Dr. Wang Min-An who is a cultural research scholar from Beijing Foreign Studies University over how art inspires literature creation and how art in literature reacts against art. The dialogue is moderated by btr, writer, critic and editor based in Shanghai.

《从手势到语言》展览期间，特邀本次展览策展人帕斯卡·托雷斯·戈尔迪奥拉和中文文学杂志编辑btr， 以本次展览的概念为出发点，策划三场中国和法国之间的“文学对谈”活动。
当“文艺”成为一个词组的时候，文学和艺术之间的密切关联便再清晰不过了。同是创作活动，艺术经常成为作家的灵感来源。对于法国作家塞尔日•布朗而言尤是如此，他写莱昂那多·达芬奇，写蒙娜·丽莎，也写曼·雷。他将与北京外国语大学博士、文化研究学者汪民安先生一同探讨艺术是如何激发文学的灵感，以及文学里的艺术又怎样对艺术产生反作用的。对谈由上海作家、评论人、编辑btr主持。
