Through analyzing over printmaking as a knowledge communication system of print evolutes from the traditional aesthetics of personals, the groups in modern social movement and in the context of contemporary culture, together with the politics of spectacle, the consciousness of contemporary art , the several nodes of self-practice, the lecturer will discuss on the diversity of printmaking in different backgrounds of times, at the same time, reflects the sentiment and imagination of the public and the individual from their printmaking practice in the current vision communication.

通过对版画作为印刷术的知识传播系统，在传统美学趣味的个人、现代社会运动中的群体、当代文化语境下的自我演变与景观政治、当代艺术的问题意识和自我实践等几个节点的解析，共同探讨版画身处不同时代背景下的多元貌相，同时串联出社会大众和个体实践者对版画在当下视觉传播过程中的情感认知和想象维度。
关于主讲人
刘庆元，1972年生于重庆，1996年毕业于广州美术学院版画系，现为广州美术学院实验艺术系副教授。刘庆元一直以木刻作为自己日常写作的工作方式，他的作品经常为独立音乐节、诗歌朗诵会、戏剧、文学等选作海报和宣传品，这也使得刘庆元的作品以“自治媒体”的姿态出现在公众视野面前。刘庆元对版画概念的基本态度是泛化和包容的，他更愿意认为版画是一种视觉传播学，艺术家就是“自治媒体人”。到今天为止刘庆元做黑白木刻已经不是在做一种绘画体验，而是在满足个人与当下社会接触的某种方式。所以一开始刘庆元的木刻其实更多的是跟文学发生关系，他总是通过木刻制造字和词、影像素材和设计元素——以个人写作的方式尝试跟其他领域发生交流。刘庆元的作品参加了 2009法国第十届里昂国际双年展，2010第八届上海双年展、第七届深圳国际水墨双年展和2011成都双年展等。刘庆元出版个人著作《碎片——1998-2006》和《复制者》。
