About the Artist
Gabriel Lester (b. Amsterdam 1972) started his artistic endeavor as amusician, stumbled into literature, studied cinema and finally becamea visual artist. Lester's many interests and expertise's explain thethemes, methods and nature of his present artwork. Most of his filmsand spatial installations have an implicit narrative layer, strongcinematicinfluences, sequential constructions and an obvious sense ofrhythm.
