Introduction
In conjunction with first solo exhibition of Anastasia Ax in China titled Step into the Current hosted by am space,on the view fromJul.6 – Jul.30, 2012, Anastasia will give in depth introduction of her practice at artist talk.
Anastasia Ax creates a site specific installation relating to the architecture in the museum, referring to set pieces used in film and theater.Each performance is a new performance, this is essential. Each meeting between the performer and the audience, every destruction of the material at hand, points towards a situation of indeterminacy and free activity, where inner and outer can switch place.
About Anastasia Ax
Anastasia Ax is born 1979, work and lives in Stockholm. Her recent solo exhibitions include 2011, Way out West musicfestival, Göteborg, Performance, Exile; 2011 Moderna Museet, Stockholm; 2011 Kulturhuset, Stockholm, Bring New Life to death, performance in two parts with Marja Leena Sillanpää; 2011 One night Only, WipStockhom. Anastasia Ax took part in may group exhibitions including 2011 Kulturenshus, Luleå, GalleriSystersval; 2011 Fylkingen Heaven/Hell Ax/Sillanpää a venue with Leif Elggren and Antoine; 2011 Göteborgskonstmuseum, New sculptures to the collection; 2010 Carnegie Art Award, Taidihalli, Helsinki.
About Organizers
Amart space non-profit art space in Shanghai, run by two young artists from April of 2008. We promote and develop the young of Chinese contemporary art, organize academic exchange activities and experimental art rehearsal.International Artist-in-resident program is a long-term project aimed at inviting foreign artists to Shanghai, living in a short term, creating and communicating. am art space does not only present art exhibitions, but also plays a role as a “Project room” which can provide a stage for different art styles, such as visual art, performance, theater, etc.

本次讲座的主讲人瑞典艺术家安娜塔西雅，将结合在上午艺术空间举办的中国首个个展《步入当下》，对其创作进行介绍与深入探讨（展期：2012年7月1日～7月30日）。
安娜塔西雅会创建一个与博物馆建筑相关的场域特定装置，涉及电影和戏剧的舞台立体布景的使用。表演者与观众的每次交流会面、每一次销毁手头的材料，都指向一种不确定和一种自由，在那里人们的内在和外在可以相互交融，相互交换。在这次行为表演中，墨所扮演的角色是一把双刃剑。这属于绘画的世界，属于填写这个白色空间的真实行为。但是与此同时，黑色墨水掺和了毒和愤怒、忧郁和破坏。原始的能量与飞溅、喷吐、毁坏相相连。时间以线性标注的形式转变成循环的瞬间：通过一种不可预知的开放的形式，新的思想和新的教会可以成形。
关于艺术家安娜塔西雅
安娜塔西雅生于1979年，工作生活在瑞典的斯德哥尔摩。2006年毕业于斯德哥尔摩皇家艺术学院。 主要展览有，Taidihalli卡内基艺术奖，赫尔辛基（2010）；爆炸 瑞典现代艺术馆（2012）。代表作品有，《流亡者》、《纸的岛屿》、《（核）反应堆》、《墨 行为》、《给死亡带来新生》、《暗处的孩子》。
上午艺术空间
上午艺术空间是一个非营利空间，2008年4月由两位年轻艺术家在上海创立。旨在支持和发展国内年轻当代艺术，组织学术交流活动和实验排演。国际艺术家驻地是一个长期的项目，项目邀请外国艺术家到上海居住一段时间，通过创作和工作，了解本地艺术形态达成相互的交流。上午艺术空间不仅仅举办艺术展览，同时也扮演着“实验的房间”的角色，我们给不同的艺术形式提供实验舞台，比如视觉艺术、行为艺术和戏剧等。我们提出问题，而不是给予答案。
