Rockbund Art Museum 上海外滩美术馆

On the second floor of Tobias Rehberger’s exhibition is portrait vases series (1997-2019), an “exhibition within an exhibition,” in which a collection of more than 50 uniquely composed flower-adorned sculptures form a homage to artists and friends associated with the artist and reveal their aesthetic quirks. The same floor also displays sculptures of overlaying oval fiberglass named the mother series. It shows the mother image in the eyes of the artist and contains all the memories and emotions.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day in 2019, we invite all participating VIP members to look for items that bear love in life* and bring them to the workshop to share the stories behind. These items will later be applied to their own works of art creation. Everyone is encouraged to make a gift for his or her mother in the form of a handicraft containing their shared memories and emotions.

Materials provided by the workshop:

Lamps, aluminum paper, iron wires, soil, paper clips, pushpins, hot glue guns, tack-it, scissors, glues, rulers, pens, etc.

Participants can voluntarily bring following things:

*One item that is related to mother (size ≤ 15cm*15cm*15cm)

Several coat hangers, cloths and clothespins

托比亚斯·雷贝格在展览的二楼是一个“个展中的群展”——属于肖像花瓶系列（1997-2019年）的50件独特的花艺雕塑作品呈现了雷贝格与其身边的艺术家和友人的美学奇想，也是雷贝格对他们的致敬。同一楼层还展示了母亲系列作品，以椭圆形玻璃钢叠加而成的雕塑呈现了艺术家心中的母亲，包含着一切与母亲相关的回忆、不同的情绪和感受。

在2019年的母亲节之际，我们邀请所有参与的会员寻找生活中那些承载爱意的物品*并带来工作坊现场，与大家分享该物件背后的小故事；而后将其运用于自己的手作中，制作一个与母亲之间的记忆、感情相关的作品，向母亲献礼。

工作坊材料提供：

灯管、铝纸、铁丝、泥土、回形针、图钉、热胶枪、蓝丁胶、剪刀、胶水、尺、笔等

参与者可自愿携带：

*一件与母亲相关的物件，请控制在15cm*15cm*15cm尺寸以内
