In this session of animation workshop, through videos and pictures presented at the art exhibition, the tutor will help pupils with an in-depth understanding of “Francis Alÿs: La dépense” by offering a detailed interpretation of the storyline and techniques behind the creation of Exodus. The tutor will explain the constantly repetitive and consuming process in artists’ creation to help them understand the significance of labor from the dimension of time. Students will be guided to present every frame of the story or scenario they have conceived on a drawing book using animation techniques. By drawing repetitive patterns and modifying subtle changes in action, they’ll experience the exquisite and poetic creative process of the artist while producing a mini-animation all by themselves as a try of self-expression and independent creation.

本次动画工作坊中，导师们将通过艺术展览现场视频和图片，带领小学生们深入了解“弗朗西斯·埃利斯：消耗”展览，并为他们详细讲解作品《出埃及记》背后创作的故事与技法。导师将深入浅出地解读艺术家在创作中不断重复，消耗的过程，让孩子们体会劳动在时间中的意义。小学生们可构思一个故事或场景，运用绘制动画的手法，将画面的每一帧都呈现在绘画本上。通过绘画重复的图案和细微的动作变化的修改，他们将体验艺术家细腻且诗意的创作过程，并在此过程中为自己创作一部迷你动画，尝试自我表达、独立创作。
