We live in a world where diverse cultures and echoes of time overlap, yet often see it from a distance. Amidst the rush of prosperity and information, life’s tenderness quietly appears in the spaces in between. Streets carry traces of history, belief, and memory—layered marks of human presence.

Through tea as a medium and people as the center, we create “Boundless Tea Gatherings.” These gatherings move beyond teahouses into parks, lawns, city corners, even streets—spaces where ideas flow and souls meet by chance. In this gentle atmosphere, we invite participants to reflect on how public spaces can be used more creatively and sustainably, transforming the city into a place of nourishment between people and nature.

When the tea gathering ends, what lingers is not only the fragrance of tea, but also the warmth of human connection and shared visions for the city’s future. These subtle impressions, like the lingering sweetness of tea, stay with us, turning endings into beginnings.

The second edition of RAM assembles: Shanghai Picnic welcomes everyone into a tender, inclusive space. To sit, to share a cup, and to experience human warmth with friends or strangers. Each steeping brings new flavors, as conversations ferment and grow. A brief encounter often becomes the seed of something lasting.

Team Intro

HEZO & WORK , founded in 2024 in Shanghai by designers ZOLA and Liu, is a multidisciplinary design studio working across interiors, exhibitions, events, and brand visuals. Guided by the philosophy of “design in harmony with life,” the studio collaborates with leading restaurant groups, cultural institutions, and diverse commercial brands.

The studio also created Heye TEA, an independent tea brand that brings design philosophy into everyday life, turning tea into a medium for cultural, sensory and social experiences. HEZO & WORK integrates art, culture, and design thinking, emphasizing close collaboration with clients and partners while exploring innovative connections between space、people、and the market. Their approach balances functionality, aesthetic expression, and cultural depth, reflecting a vision of design that resonates beyond the built environment.
