舒适的全新定义（上海站） 在第二届外滩建筑节期间，NÉM于上海举办了为期一周的工作坊及展览“重新定义舒适”。参与者在RAM与Ném策划提供的最基础、可获取的工具支持下，使用再利用材料设计全新用途的座椅与结构。没有精致装饰，不允许工业设计，也没有固定的制作方式——他们的成果可以是一项研究、一个社会实验，或是一件雕塑作品。
在这一周里，参与者跟随Ném进行一系列本地行走与工作坊，探索如何将被遗忘的记忆与被忘记的物件重新激活，并转化为一把新的椅子。他们共同解构“舒适”的定义，并通过动手创作重新书写它的意义。所有设计在工作坊结束时对公众展出，展览结束后，创作者将作品带回。
关于艺术家
于2023年中成立，Ném迅速成为越南当代艺术与设计至关重要的中心枢纽。其并不只是一个物理空间，更是一个跨领域交汇的混合平台，在这里，不同学科相互交织，材料被重新想象，新的对话由此生成。 Ném空间的核心在于探索人与物之间不断演变的关系——我们如何塑造材料，反过来，它们又如何塑造我们。通过涵盖电影、音乐、艺术、实践工作坊与研究的动态项目，NÉM空间促进跨创意领域的实验与合作。无论是重新思考日常材料、复兴失落工艺，还是质疑生产与废弃体系，NÉM空间邀请艺术家、设计师与公众共同参与一场关于定义我们生活之物的对话。
During RAM assembles, NÉM organised a one-week workshop and an exhibition The New Comfort in Shanghai , where participants designed adaptable seating and structures using repurposed materials with the most basic accessible making tools curated by RAM and NÉM. Nothing fancy, no industrial design allowed, and no fixed way to make their chairs. Their outcomes can be for research, a social experiment or a sculpture.
Throughout the week, makers had participated in a series of local walks and workshops led by NÉM, exploring ways of activating discarded memories and forgotten objects into a new chair. Together, they had deconstructed the definition of comfort and rewritten it in the form of making. All designs had been displayed for public view by the end of the workshop.
