Dickson Dee will perform with all sound elements which collected in this passed 5 months, of course not just field recording stuff only, also with some new software he got on the road, so he will put all different kinds style which he loves in this live performing with ambient, electronic, beat, new classical, industry, noise...all together.
About the performer
Dickson Dee(Li Chin Sung) has been engaged in the music industry for more than 20 years. His career started from importing European independent labels to Hong Kong, China and Taiwan; followed by establishing his own music label Noise Asia, organizing concerts etc. His experience includes distribution, import/export, creation, publishing, promotion, artist management and other kinds of works in the industry. He has made a great contribution to the development of independent music in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
In 1996, Dickson’s debut solo album “PAST” was released under Tzadik label (USA). Since then, he began to set foot on the creation field with musical styles ranging from avantgarde to experimental, music concrete, electronic, new classical, industrial noise, dance, electronic world jazz etc. He has performed under different names and formed several bands. For example, DJ Dee for electronic experimental music, Li Chin Sung for music concrete and avantgarde, PNF for industrial noise, Khoomi Sound Machine for electronic world jazz, Dickson Dee for electronic acoustic,sampling cut ‘n’ paste and turntableist. Mars News Ensemble for mix film,music, art multimedia project. Dickson set up his personal label Dicksonia Audio beside Noise Asia, which concentrates on the release and publishing of his own works. This provides more freedom and convenience to further develop his creativity.
Besides concerts, Dickson also appears in arts academy and university for workshops and lectures to share his experiences with students, hoping to trigger their interest on sound art and music; furthermore, to give them a better understanding on the different aspects of music.

李劲松是世界实验音乐圈最活跃的香港人,从事音乐事业已超过20年。创办“亚洲传声”,这间在华人地区独立音乐场景中最重要的唱片公司作为起点,李劲松在20多年的时间里,参与和从事过包括独立音乐的唱片发行和代理、音乐创作、出版、版权代理、媒体宣传、演出组织等工作。他对华人地区的实验与独立音乐场景有着非常大的贡献。
1996年,李劲松首张个人专辑《PAST》在John Zorn的Tzadik唱片公司出版。从此他便踏上了音乐创作的道路。他的音乐风格多样,从Avant Garde到具象、新古典到工业噪音、跳舞音乐或电声民族爵士皆广泛涉猎。李劲松拥有多个创作代号并与不同的音乐家组成乐队或组合。例如DJ Dee用以创作实验电子,Li Chin Sung则专注具象和Avant Garde,PNF则是专为创作工业噪音而设,Khoomi Sound Machine,则是他开始电声民族爵士的尝试的又一新的代号,在这队融合了蒙古长调、自由爵士和实验电子的乐团里,李劲松负责电子原音、采样、唱盘等声响的设计。多年来,与李劲松合作过的音乐家或艺术家,足够写成一幅当代音乐场景的地图。
除了亚洲传声,李劲松新开设了一个厂牌Dicksonia Audio,专注于自己创作作品的出版和发行。这也有助于他拓展个人在创作上的自由度。频繁出席在世界各地的音乐节或演出的李劲松,也在一些艺术学院和大学举行讲座,和世界各地的朋友分享他在创作或音乐工作的经验,希望让听众能拓宽思维去接受和看待艺术和音乐。
李劲松也参与包括中国独立电影和现代舞的配乐创作,他最近的配乐作品包括导演朱文的《小东西》、《火星纪事乐队》,《三元里》, 著名编舞家桑吉加的(Not Here/Not Ever)、《那一年,这一天》、《前定的暗色》、《无以名状》、编舞家刘琦的《临池》、《临池舞墨》,编舞家侯莹的《Burning》,《Tang and Song》,和參加了一些重要艺朮或音乐节如意大利威尼斯双年展和Fabbrica Europpa,德国科隆三年音乐节,日本横浜三年展和北九洲双年展,香港新視野艺术节,波兰Moving Closer 艺术节,星加坡華艺艺术节,深圳建築双年展等等
