Synopsis:
Tang Caifeng (also named as Tang Xiaoyan) left home very early. She has muddled in the society for many years, but evertying doesn't go on well with her.This winter,she came back her hometown in North East China alone, She thought to have a happy reunion Chinese New Year with her eighty years old father: Old Man Tang.
Chinese New Year's eve is coming soon,and Old Man Tang's sons and daughters had also come back home to reunion happily. But they didn't keep the happy scene for long, they began to quarelle a lot and finally left home one by one, only leaving Old Man Tang alone, waiting for death by himself.
In the shattered winter, old man Tang tells his lifestory fragmentarily.
In this winter, it snowed a lot, some eyewash was told, some dim memory of past revolution was picked up……It is such a ridiculously cold winter.
In the end, Tang Caifeng left home again, she has an unpredictable future waiting for her.

老唐头，1930年出生在黑龙江省，父亲唐士荣在伪满洲国期间，曾经搭救过东北抗日联军赵尚志的性命，因此在屯子里很有威望。老唐头家里兄弟五个，按家谱上说的“仁、义、礼、智、信”的长幼顺序，他行五，本名唐希信。他有着惊人的记忆力。脑袋里装着近八十年过目不忘的故事。
导演阐述：
导演用一个冬天拍摄老唐头井喷式叙述着的自己的传奇一生。这是部鲜活的小人物传记，它把正在进行的生活和老唐头的回忆交织在一起，时间跨度近八十年。它描述了中国社会里的小人物在宏大的历史变迁中既传奇又卑微的个人命运，同时也是上个世纪中国历史的折射。
导演简历：
1965生于北京，1983就读于中国传媒大学新闻摄影专业。现在工作生活于北京。纪录片作品《麦收》（Wheat Harvest）、《算命》（Fortune Teller）、《老唐头》（Shattered），合称“游民三部曲”。
