Xu Zhe is mainly engaged in video installation and photography. His recent works focus on his own existential situation, often embedding his personal interpretation of the strange history of his father's generation and the memory of the other in his works, as a response to the multi-faceted reflection on the current issues of the times. 2016 he received the Asian Cultural Council Visual Arts Fellowship and is currently teaching at the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts. His recent exhibitions include SNAP Art Centre Shanghai, The Terrace Project at the French Consulate in Shanghai, Shanghai Chinese Art Palace, Shanghai Long Museum of Art and Shanghai Biennale.

徐喆，主要从事影像装置和摄影创作。他近期的创作聚焦于对自我生存境遇的关注， 常常将个人对陌生的父辈历史与他者的记忆解读内嵌于创作中，以此回应对当下时代问题的多角度反思。2016 年他获得亚洲文化协会视觉艺术奖助金，现任教于上海视觉艺术学院。他近期的展览包括：上海 SNAP 艺术中心、上海法国领事馆“露台计划”、上海中华艺术宫、上海龙美术馆、上海双年展等。
