常驻法兰克福的中国艺术家韩子石荣获2024年首届E.A.T. PRIZE艺特奖年度艺术家奖。该奖项由广东时代美术馆发起，联合MACA美凯龙艺术中心与上海外滩美术馆共同设立，关注多元的艺术表达、艺术实践形式及其可持续发展。2024年，历经数月提名、初评与同业评议，E.A.T. PRIZE从25位优秀艺术家中遴选出5位入围者，最终由韩子石获得年度大奖。
韩子石为本次在上海外滩美术馆的演讲带来了一场围绕自身创作实践的感官性分享，探讨材料及其可塑性、装置建构与失效、叙事嵌入等议题，并介绍了其于2025年3月在广东时代美术馆举办的个展《墙隙三闻》。
Frankfurt-based Chinese artist Zishi Han was awarded the inaugural 2024 Emergence Art Today Prize (E.A.T. PRIZE) Annual Artist Award, which Guangdong Times Museum initiated in collaboration with MACA and the Rockbund Art Museum, focusing on diverse artistic expressions, practices and their sustainable development. After months of nominations, preliminary reviews, and peer evaluations in 2024, the E.A.T. PRIZE selected five finalists from a pool of 25 outstanding artists, with Han being the final awardee.
Han gave a sensorial presentation on his practice with questions concerning materiality and its malleability, the building and the failure of apparatus, the integration of narratives, as well as introduced his solo exhibition Echoes from the Gaps in the Wall that was presented at Guangdong Times Museum in March 2025.
