Now recruiting: Operation Specialist
-- Be responsible for the successful running of the front desk services, providing information and materials, payment and tickets arrangement, consulting and services of the current exhibition, activities, the museum, as well as the orientation and facilities for the visitors.
-- Be responsible for the volunteers and interns management, including hiring, training, team activities and development.
-- Be responsible for the order and facility in the daily operation of the museum, and report with alerts in time.
-- Supporting with other activities such as academic, education, communication fields.
-- Other works provided by the managers.
-- College degree or above.
-- Interested in contemporary art, design, art history, cultural studies, arts and literature. Has knowledge of function and social role of museums.
-- Experienced in museum administration and services, community, social organization is a plus.
-- Good inter-personal and communication skills, Good at in Chinese and English, both writing and oral. Family with computer practice.
-- Well organized, be creative but also pragmatic, methodical and result-led.
-- Can work under pressure and can be on duty by turns.
-- Open and friendly, be responsibility and a good team player, willing to be collaborative and supportive

For 5 years RAM has been at the fore-front of the growing contemporary art scene in China, presenting world-class programmes in a unique museum setting. A boutique Museum of the upmost quality, RAM holds a unique position within Shanghai’s continually expanding cultural scene. The Museum is located within the Bund district and housed in an exquisite heritage Art Deco building which was renovated by architect David Chipperfield before opening in 2010.
The museum’s exemplary curatorial, education and research programmes showcase acclaimed and emerging Chinese and international artists, responding to and reflecting on present and urgent challenges of society locally and internationally. RAM presents a bold and pioneering programme of 3 exhibitions per year; exploring and realising artists’ most ambitious projects and working with them to tailor exhibitions to the Museum and to the Shanghai context, often with a large proportion of works being new commissions.
