Professor Tony Godfrey will introduce the talk by explaining the history of art in the Philippines, what is particular about the Philippines and its art scene. He will also talk about the work of MM Yu and Leslie de Chavez. Buen Calubayan and Geraldine Javier will talk about their own work
Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) is pleased to announce the opening of RAM Station - the new location for not only the RAM Shop and reading room, but also for the resumption of RAM’s public education programmes.
It is an open call for all documenters of this special period. RAM invites you to join a long-term public participation project initiated by artist Jasphy Zheng. Through collaborative effort, we hope to gather diverse and precious writings across the globe.
As we extend our warmest wishes to you in this extraordinary time, we would like to also announce that the museum reopening will be postponed to 2021.
