Indeed, there is a shift taking place in political and economic relationships as result of the transformations which the countries have been going through respectively in recent years, and the changing contexts create new conditions for the artists’ work.

在讲座中馆长拉瑞斯·弗洛乔将以上海外滩美术馆为例讲述国内外当代艺术馆所面对的不同发展挑战，并以“艺术制造”为题，从以下四个方面向师生分享： 论艺术制造与艺术史，当代艺术馆如何建立起当下的艺术实践与艺术历史的联系； 论艺术制造与展览制作，展览规划及展览与空间及游客的关系是怎样的； 当观众作为艺术制造者时，观众体验和参与到美术馆展览的不同途径，以及美术馆教育平台的作用； 当艺术家作为艺术制造者时，一个当代艺术馆如何给一个活跃的新锐艺术家提供平台？博物馆支持和推广新的艺术家的使命是什么？ 讲座也将包含对HUGO BOSS亚洲新锐艺术家大奖的介绍。

“胡志明小道艺术项目”由艺术机构“长征计划”发起。从2008年开始，“胡志明小道”就一直是项目中隐喻、讨论和行走的出发点。项目在2010年6月正式组织来自多个国家的艺术家、策展人、哲学家、建筑批评家重走这个区域，在密集的21天里，在参与群体的内部和外部，进行了不同形式的、高强度的观察、表达和激辩；项目希望当参与者的身体与“胡志明小道”这一历史空间的现状直接遭遇时，可以激起对所面临问题的重新审视，形成策动话语和实践产生的起点。讲座将通过其中两位全程参与者的所感所思，再次表述各自对当前文化实践的观察和论点。
