Together with BANK, RAM presents Vive Le Capital, an evening where art meets global commerce that explores, celebrates, and critiques the omnipresent power of global finance through the perspectives from artists and others that examine the momentous and intimate experiences with multi-national capitalism.
Contemporary dance showcases our body, breaks through traditional rules and greatly enriches our understanding of our body and movements. Together with emerging media and stage art, contemporary dance performance is able to project even more wonderful visual effects. At this workshop, we will combine the routines of contemporary dance with images. Participants will also learn about the ideas behind contemporary dance and use two methods to present the power of physique.
This lecture will be the following four points: 1, collage’s first attempt as a visual language: extending from materials grouping to multi-dimensional consciousness; 2, that the complexity of contemporary art is consistent with the temporal and spatial logic of collage explains why it is natural for collage to transform from a simple technique to an expression of perceptions and from visual art to multi-cultural art......
The most important thing of living in today’s internet era is to set up connections and therefore we should make our children see that they are dots of this connected world. They are connected with their classmates and their families, and through these connections, they are linked with other people. Tens of Thousands of the connected dots constitute our world. At this workshop, we will use internet thinking to come up with more ideas and materials and work together to create an installation work
Paper, born as the medium of writing, embodies the need of recording and the desire to create. Blank is the temporary state of paper; paper with symbols on it is its permanent form. The combination of paper and symbols makes possible the recording of history and the creation of art. The recording is the memory of the real world while creation projects the possibilities of the world.

The tradition of lighting up lanterns on the Lantern Festival, namely on the fifteenth day of the first month in the lunisolar year in the lunar calendar, dates back to Han Dynasty. By Tang Dynasty, lantern-watching became even more popular. Lanterns were hung up in palace as well as streets. Besides, tall lantern wheels, lantern towers and lantern trees would also be set up.
