In this lecture, the speaker intends to classify the three stages in the “ink painting debates” since the Cultural Revolution. In this lecture, Professor Zhao Li will discuss the transformation and development of Chinese paintings since the start of the 20th century, with a focus on the situation of Chinese paintings after the foundation of the PRC.
