An Evening with Angela Zito
Starting from the Chinese community’s arrival in India in the 1800s, to the effects of the 1962 Sino-Indian border conflict, to their recent mass emigration, From Border to Border puts voices to faces as interviewees retell their histories and describe their experiences living with generational discrimination and alienation, cultural preservation and familial expectations.
Launched by RAM, Khek Dhang Ke is a long-term platform with a focus on the vicissitudes of the communities and locals in the Bund area.
Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) is pleased to announce the opening of RAM Station - the new location for not only the RAM Shop and reading room, but also for the resumption of RAM’s public education programmes.
It is an open call for all documenters of this special period. RAM invites you to join a long-term public participation project initiated by artist Jasphy Zheng. Through collaborative effort, we hope to gather diverse and precious writings across the globe.
