“SAVAKA: Asia Experimental Music Currents” is a experimental music project curated by sound artist Yin Yi and sound researcher Adel Wang Jing under the umbrella of “HUGO BOSS ASIA ART: Invisible Torrents” organized by Rockbund Art Museum. The extending project “SAVAKA@RAM CAFÉ” aims to encourage the audience who could not attend the SAVAKA performances or talks to have an opportunity to listen to the works related to each presented musician. The selected music s will be available from May 2014 on the RAM 6F embracing the works from Li Jianhong, Walnut Room, Goh Lee Kwang and Toshiya Tsunoda etc.

Li Jianhong is one of the most active Chinese noise and Improvisation artists in Mainland China of present days. In 2011, he together with VAVABOND established a new label C.F.I. (China Free Improvisation) to promote the development of China’s free improvisational music. Nowadays, his majorly plays guitar and effect pedals with his style around improvised music, noise music and psychedelic music.
