【RAM @ Campus】Dialogue: Locality and Narrative: From the Perspective of Contemporary Art CuratorsJun 16, 2016 Thursday 18:30 - 20:30

  • About the talk

For hundreds of years cross-cultural exchanges and interactions have influenced and shaped the current Asian narrative that both intertwines and juxtaposes with global history and history of individual countries. “Tell Me a Story: Locality and Narrative” has collected 11 series of works from different regions and countries of Asia to rediscover -- with an open connection -- “Asia” along with its status and significance in contemporary world history. In this dialogue, speakers focus on how Asian cultures stick to their unique locality and narrative in the context of overwhelmingly globalized world from the perspective of contemporary art.
