In concert with the 2010 Zeng Fanzhi Exhibition, a number of famous art critics and art historians in China, who had either curated Zeng’s exhibition or written about his works, were invited by RockBund Art Museum for a discussion on Zeng’s works. The morning session of the seminar consisted of keynote speeches addressing Zeng’s art and the status quo of the Chinese contemporary art; the afternoon session was highlighted by a roundtable discussion chaired by Wu Hong, the curator of the exhibition, which explored Zeng’s experience as an artist and his new course of art creation. The seminar was held at the conference hall of Shanghai Library at free admission.
