Art historian Prof. David Pagel will talk about how he thinks of contemporary Chinese arts. Moreover, as an art critic, he will take the example of a Newspaper in which he acts as a contributor to emphasize on the crucials in the writing process, and why for him it's important to generate accurate information and words for a intelligent and efficient society.
Prof. David Pagel serves as professor of Art Theory and History in Claremont Graduate University since 2013. He has had M.A. from Harvard University in Art History in 1987 and B.A. from Stanford University in Modern Thought and Literature in 1985.Since 1991, he works as art critic in Los Angeles Times, adjunct Curator in the Parrish Art Museum, Water Mill, New York since 2008, and he has been one of the board members of The Foundation for Advanced Critical Studies since 1992.
