RAM Talk: More than a Guided Tour: How to Speak the Unspeakable ProfoundnessDec 17, 2016 Saturday 16:00 - 18:00
About the event
Art to us is sometimes the expression of thoughts, the response to the art history, or in other times, the voice of the profound reaches of our heart. How do we speak the unspeakable profoundness as we are now living in an increasingly isolated modern world, where people’s minds are becoming more complicated and mysterious? Through the artworks of Felix Gonzalez-Torres, he expressed the unbearable sadness of life, as well as the eternity and perishability of love.
While every one of us has unspeakably painful experiences of life, artists crystallize such experiences into artistic works. Without any confusing terminology, this talk opens our heart to the sentimental expressions of the artist and leads us to explore the unspeakable, profound reaches of our own heart.
