Cynthia's home environment proves to be a magic and uncanny universe furnished with symbols and signs borrowed from art history, new-age philosophy, and advertising.

Art Topics Series
Art Topics is the section in Night @ RAM that directly associates with the contemporary art practice. Rockbund Art Museum will curate and cooperate with other cultural and art organizations, inviting excellent domestic and international artists, critics, and curators, to share with audiences their most recent achievement and profound thinking. They will also communicate and interact with audiences during the events, in the hope to assist them to better understand contemporary art, and also help the artists to obtain direct feedbacks from the audiences, so as to provide them beneficial references.
These events demonstrate the open and interdisciplinary vision of Rockbund Art Museum. Artists will introduce the art practice not only on their expression, but also including the motivation behind the works, the related social and cultural issues, as well as the politics of art representation and seeing, etc. Contemporary artists have actively broken the traditional boundary between themes, media and forms of art, and the art has been emancipated. Therefore, Art Topics is going to become a public platform that probes into a certain art topic and allows all to have the opportunity to fully express their ideas and communicate with each other.
