The Dutch Design Fashion Architecture programme and the Rockbund Art Museum present the second screening of Dutch Profiles, a series of short documentaries about architects, graphic, product and fashion designers in the Netherlands. The second screening will revolve around burning social issues in contemporary urban environments and how Dutch designers unite to provide sustainable solutions.
The screening will be followed by a dialogue, between Chinese and Dutch design experts on the future of urban societies and the need for smart and healthy design. The dialogue will be moderated by Bert de Muynck (MovingCities) and will include presentations by Martine Vledder, architect and director of MVRDV Asia, Liu Yu Yang, architect and principal of Atelier Liu Yu Yang and Zhang Lei designer and creative director of PINWU.
