Held every two years, the British Animation Awards (BAA) covers all aspects of the UK animation scene, from student works to commercials, to children's entertainment, short and experimental art films, music videos, and new technologies. The next BAA will be held in 2012.
This film screening program is organized by the Cultural and Education Section of the British Consulates-General. It is for the selection of the best of British Animation Awards nominees and the award-winners in the categories for short and student films, animated commercials, TV graphics, new technologies, sound and music, many of which have also won numerous international festival prizes. Including trailers and extras, it is a unique overview of recent British animation, featuring a range of different techniques and diversity of styles.
