Born in Cecina (Italy) in 1962. Lives and works in Cecina (italy).
Massimo Bartolini has used various media in his works, such as photography, video and performance, but in recent years the distinctive characteristic of his work are architectural constructions capable of transforming space through poetic installations. An almost Renaissance harmony is born between architecture, man and landscape, and surfaces become zones of contact, of fusion. His works seems to evoke the need for a more human environment in which to live; it speaks of the need to insulate oneself from the contemporary metropolis, to look for more hospitable spaces. The artist seeks a harmony not only between man and nature but also between art and man, between art and nature.
